Backup Battery SOS System - OEM 4K0915989C

Original VAG backup battery for the SOS / emergency call system (eCall).

This battery supplies the emergency call system with power when the vehicle battery is disconnected or no longer supplies voltage after a collision. This allows the vehicle to still place an emergency call.

The battery ages and loses capacity. With a worn or defective battery the vehicle reports a fault in the emergency call system and the SOS function is unavailable or only partly available.

This is a new original OEM part.
