ACC Radar / Distance Sensor New VAG OEM (5WA907572B)
ACC Radar / Distance Radar VAG – OEM 5WA907572B
Genuine VAG ACC radar sensor (distance radar) for vehicles on the MQB-evo platform with adaptive cruise control and driver assistance systems.
The radar sensor is mounted in the front of the vehicle and continuously measures the distance to and speed of the traffic ahead. It provides the input for adaptive cruise control (ACC), the distance warning, the emergency braking assistant (Front Assist) and – depending on the specification – Travel Assist.
If the radar is faulty, damaged or knocked out of position, these systems stop working or are deactivated by the vehicle. After a collision or front-end damage, replacement is often required.
This is a new, genuine OEM VAG part.

Possible symptoms and fault codes
A faulty, misaligned or uncalibrated ACC radar typically causes symptoms such as:
- Adaptive cruise control unavailable, or dropping out while driving
- "Front Assist: fault" or "Driver assistance systems: fault" message in the display
- Travel Assist and lane assist unavailable
- Distance warning and emergency braking assistant inoperative
- Systems that only drop out after a few kilometres of driving
Fault codes in control module 13 – control module for distance control (J428), among others:
- C110300 – ACC sensor incorrectly adjusted / misaligned
- C12BFF0 – automatic calibration of the radar sensor not possible
- B200FF9 – internal fault in the radar sensor
- U112300 – missing message on the data bus (no communication with the radar)
- 01319 – control module for distance control (J428), VAG fault number
A fault code does not automatically mean the radar is defective. First check the mounting position and the front bumper for damage or contamination, then the connector and the wiring, and carry out a calibration. If calibration keeps failing or an internal fault is stored, the radar needs to be replaced.
Important fitting information
PLEASE NOTE: this radar is not plug & play.
After fitting, the radar sensor must be coded and calibrated with suitable diagnostic equipment. Without correct calibration, adaptive cruise control and the related assistance systems will not work, or will not work reliably.
We recommend that fitting and calibration are carried out by a qualified workshop with suitable VAG diagnostic equipment and the correct calibration setup.
