High-voltage system heat exchanger – new, genuine VAG

New genuine VAG heat exchanger for the thermal management of the high-voltage system of electric models on the MEB platform. The heat exchanger transfers heat from the cooling circuit of the high-voltage battery and the drive unit to the second circuit, keeping the battery temperature within its operating range while driving and charging.

If the heat exchanger no longer works properly, for example due to internal contamination or a leak, the high-voltage system can no longer dissipate enough heat. The vehicle then limits power or charging speed to protect the battery. A leak also causes loss of coolant.

This is a new, genuine VAG part (OEM).
