Turbo Actuator/Regulator 2.0TFSI - OEM VAG
Turbo Actuator / Regulator 2.0 TFSI – OEM VAG
Original VAG turbo actuator / turbo pressure regulator for various 2.0 TFSI engines with EA888 Gen. 3 engine.
The electronic actuator controls the turbo's wastegate, thereby regulating the turbo pressure. A defective actuator can, among other things, lead to power loss, incorrect turbo pressure, limp mode, or malfunctions in the turbo pressure control.
This is an original OEM VAG part.

Always check the OE number of the current actuator or turbo before ordering, as different turbo versions may have been used within the same model and year of manufacture.
Possible complaints with a defective actuator
A defective or incorrectly adjusted turbo actuator can, among other things, lead to:
Power loss
Limp mode
Too high or too low turbo pressure
Irregular turbo pressure control
Wastegate not being controlled correctly
Engine warning light
Possible fault codes include:
P00AF – Turbocharger Boost Control Module Performance
P2563 – Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor / Range Performance
A fault code does not automatically mean that the actuator is defective. Always check the mechanical operation of the wastegate and turbo as well.
Important installation information
PLEASE NOTE: this actuator is not plug & play.
After installation, the actuator must:
Be mechanically adjusted correctly
Be set to the correct position / rod length
Be taught-in / adapted with suitable diagnostic equipment
An incorrectly adjusted actuator can lead to incorrect turbo pressure control, fault codes, or limp mode.
We recommend installation and adjustment by a qualified car repair shop with suitable VAG diagnostic equipment.
